What Makes Us Different
A classical education grounded in faith, delivered with passion and purpose.
Qualified Teachers
Our teachers bring a strong combination of education, experience, and genuine care for students. They are knowledgeable in their subject areas, committed to helping each child grow, and dedicated to creating a safe, encouraging, and engaging learning environment.
University Model
Our K-12 drop-off program provides teacher-led instruction 2 days a week, giving academic support for home school parents. We provide structure, lesson plans, and reporting assistance while parents remain the primary educators.
Christian Community
Creo Classical Academy offers social-integration through a Biblical worldview. Prioritizing Christian principals leads us to treat one another with love and respect. Our program gives students the opportunity to build friendships and learn alongside peers while pursuing truth, goodness, and beauty together.
Academic Excellence, Together
Creo Classical Academy offers a supportive academic community for homeschool families in the Capital District. We understand that homeschooling can be a rewarding but demanding journey, and we are here to walk alongside you.
Inspired by the Charlotte Mason philosophy and the classical trivium, our program weaves together the best of time-honored educational traditions with the warmth of a close-knit faith community. Students are not just taught — they are known, nurtured, and encouraged to discover the unique purpose their Creator has designed for them.
Our university model means students attend classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, returning home to continue their studies with the guidance of their parents. This partnership between school and home is at the heart of everything we do.

Nature study, living books, narration, and an atmosphere of delight in learning — woven throughout every grade level.
Three Phases of Classical Learning
The classical trivium meets students where they are developmentally, guiding them from wonder and knowledge through understanding to wisdom and expression.
Grammar Phase
K–5th GradeIn the early years children enjoy absorbing information through memorization, rhyme, and song. This is a season of wonder and discovery where young minds soak up knowledge like a sponge. Students build a strong foundation in language arts, history, science, and mathematics through engaging stories, hands-on activities, and the joy of learning.
Logic Phase
6th–8th GradeIn the middle grades, students engage in critical thinking and begin to question and analyze the world around them. The Logic Phase builds on the grammar foundation by teaching students to reason carefully, identify fallacies, and construct coherent arguments. Subjects are studied in greater depth as students learn to connect ideas across disciplines.
Rhetoric Phase
9th–12th GradeIn the high school years, students further develop their use of grammar and logic to communicate persuasively and eloquently. They learn to express their ideas with clarity and conviction, preparing them for college, career, and citizenship. Students study great works of literature, history, philosophy, and science while developing their own voice and worldview.
The task of the modern educator is not to cut down jungles, but to irrigate deserts.— C.S. Lewis
